BJP Releases Star Campaigners List For Bengal First Phase

The BJP has brought out its big names for the first phase of campaigning in West Bengal. The party’s star campaigners list reportedly includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, among others. In a state as politically charged as Bengal, star campaigners are used to set the tone, attract crowds, and give local campaigns national visibility. But star power is only one part of the election equation. Candidate strength, booth management, local alliances, caste and community arithmetic, welfare delivery, and regional issues all matter on polling day. For the BJP, the aim will be to keep its message consistent across constituencies and energise workers in competitive seats. For the TMC and other parties, the challenge is to counter that visibility with their own ground-level networks. The campaign now enters the phase where rallies and roadshows will compete heavily for voter attention.
